CLASS POLICIES
DRESS
Boys must wear dark color sweat/dance pants and a PLAIN white short sleeved teeshirt
Ballet Class for children 4 and older require simple pink scoopneck leotard and ballet pink tights, instructor will determine whether slippers are required
Modern class - leotard, tights of any color - simple black dance pants/white teeshirts for boys
Impovisational Dance Making - leotard, footless tights of any color, bare feet
HIP HOP - loose fitting clothing, sweat, leotards, dance pants, teeshirts - NO STREET CLOTHING
CLASS POLICIES
All participants are encouraged to arrive on time so that children are prepared to enter the dance space at the same time. It is very important at this young age to maintain an orderly environment, which starts with entrance into the studio, so that the time is used to it's full advantage.
PLEASE WAIT WITH CHILDREN IN THE WAITING ROOM UNTIL A TEACHER COMES FOR THEM. TIME BEFORE AND BETWEEN CLASSES IS USED TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT CLASS.
Students are NOT allowed into the studio at any time without a teacher.
Parents are asked to prepare children for class - be sure to use the bathroom, talk to your child about class, greet the teacher etc... Families that are consistently late will not be allowed to enter as it is distracting to the class dynamic.
Nothing is allowed into the studio (food, playthings, costumes etc...) There will be scheduled days during the semester that kids can bring in costumes, tutus etc..
Please be waiting to meet your child at class end.
MAKEUP CLASSES
We cannot allow makeup classes unless in cases of illness. Only two make-up per classes per session are permitted, please call the office for arrangements.
REFUNDS
There are no refunds - credit will be given in case of long term illness.
We will offer credit for an upcoming session to children 2.5 (ONLY), if they are not ready for class
